Meet some of our London locals
We believe the best travel experiences happen when you’re armed with the knowledge to explore like a local. Our locals are all residents of London who love to meet new people and share their favourite parts of the city, so you can explore like a local.
I’m a South African born Londoner and a keen photographer. I know some great whiskey bars and waterfront pubs, and how to get a perfect shot of the city. I keep an eye out for new restaurant and bar openings; there are always some great launch offers and last minute deals if you know where to look!
London has tons of local & weekend street markets and in the summer after shopping, you’ll find me at one of the many rooftop bars across the city. If you’re a cyclist like me, I can share a few routes that take you through some of London’s most beautiful back streets and parks with picnic spots along the way.
As a native Londoner, I’m passionate about sharing my city’s best bits. I can give you the historic highlights, or point you in the direction of more quirky sights. I’ve got gallery and theatre recommendations and as a foodie, I’m likely to have a few tried and tested restaurants, cafés, and pop-ups that will suit your tastes.
A music-lover and current resident of Shoreditch, I can share my favourite clubs and venues for live music. I know some great spots for catching the late-evening sun, where to try London’s craft beers and how to see a different side to the city with an early morning run.
I’ve lived in West London for the last 6 years and know some great brunch spots, park walks, sightseeing runs and energetic cycle routes. I can also help with some celebrity spotting along Westbourne Grove and in Holland Park! I love meeting travellers and speaking a bit of French and German.
I’m a TV wildlife film producer and long-time resident of London – Primrose Hill is a real favourite spot. I love its eclectic mix of residents as well as the leafy parks, canal walks, and restaurants & cafés on offer. I can share a few good spots to join in a friendly pub quiz too!
Being a born-and-bred Londoner I’ve experienced the city through school, university and work, and learnt that exploring this city never ends. It just keeps on evolving with new pop-ups, restaurants, bars, cafes, parks, activities and hidden areas all to discover!
